Affirm payment did not work
I went through the Affirm website to Hotels.com to book a hotel. Was supposed to have payments through Affirm.
Instead, Hotels.com hit my account for the entire amount...no Affirm...just an $800 hit on my account.
Terrible. Would highly suggest not using Hotels.com.

Days Inn by Wyndham in Madison Heights Michigan is roach infected and when I asked for a refund the refuse. I've reached out to the BBB and OSHA and well as my local news station

Couldn't solve advised Couldn't reach Marriott to discuss returning my money due illness to request to cancel and reimburse me over 500.00 I paid for protection insurance as well after 4 phone calls issue has still not been resolved 500.00+ may not be much money for a million $+ hotel but for me it is a lot of $
Bad Service And Decetive Buisness Coduct
I Glenn Raymer had made a Booking on Hotel.com thinking its an Australian company but it turned out be American. I was told according to Protcal that i will get my money back into CommonwealthBank within 24-48 hours.They take you money in few seconds but return in 10-15 days.I see no logic in the greedy behaviour and deceptive Ameriacn company.Amen. I am furious

Hotels was canceled
I went to check into my hotel and was told that my reservation was canceled I'm not sure why, but it was. no room no refund smh very upset

They still have not refunded my money. They were very unprofessional, and in my opinion, because they had no accessible room, they acted like complete jerks.
I would like them to now refund my $94.09, and they act like they don't have to give it back to me! They cannot just steal my money, so I'm going to call Fox13 News and Channel 2 News to see if they want to run a story on these shady practices by this motel.

To cancel my booking because my daughter in Labour
I booked 2 rooms 2 nights at quality inn in bulletin starting tomorrow but my daughter starting Labour and I have to be with her so I need to cancel

I place an reservation than had to cancel. I had no way to clarify what phone or email I used.
So I had to wait to get the info.
The place was nice to give my reservation number but couldn't cancel. To do better

I booked a trip to Budapest, but due to an accident which caused a brain injury for me, I am unable to travel. I provided the doctor's note to Expedia, asking for a refund or a future travel credit, but I'm just getting the runaround between hotels.com and the hotel, both saying the other person should do it.
The hotel says hotels.com should, and hotels.com said they only go by the hotel policy. I feel trapped and harassed in this process, and all this stress is making my symptoms worse.
I would like a quick resolution. I have attached the receipt showing the reservation for 2 rooms from Dec 27th, 2025, to Jan 1, 2026, at Parisi Udvar Hotel.

No help.
Had a hotel claim our reservation didn't exist and we were turned away late at night. Hotels.com had done nothing to help since they can't reach the hotel staff.

Never got to stay, cancelled the room, and haven't got my money back yet. The hotel manager is the one who told us to cancel, and I never got my money back.

I’m stuck on the cold with my daughter because they canceled my hotel reservation without telling me or the hotel it’s 40’ degrees out side and we have no where to go!!! And they kept my money!!
They canceled my hotel reservation and me and my daughter stuck in McDonald its 30 degrees outside and we have no where to go!!! And they kept my money never sent a email to me!!
